As a designer by trade, I've won a few awards and I've not won a lot of awards. I hope the reason I won was because of my art and not who I knew. Not trying to be a prick, just pointing out my moral delimma of turning a photo contest into a popularity contest... not to say that the photos aren't good enough to win without swaying the vote.
A contest SHOULD be about rewarding the best, not who can go out and get the most votes from people that don't even look at all the other images in the contest. Okay, I'll get off my high-horse.

Bart,
You're photos are that good. You just need to head to the "Dries" and click away at the big boys on the big stuff. Just make sure you have a fast shutter, good glass and plenty of memory cards. Reckon you can get Boyd off the bones of the Cascades to play in something with some meat?
