A solid Class IV at higher levels (above 4' at Albright bridge gauge) and a III+ at 2'-3', this is a beautiful run in the Cheat Canyon.  If you're comfortable with the Lower Yough this is a good step up in difficulty, depending on the level.  It comes up and goes down fast so few outfitters schedule raft trips (hooray!) - but you can usually catch it up sporadically year-round and more so in the spring and sometimes in the summer.  I've seen it come up more than a foot during a trip of 6-8 hours, so if it's near the limit of your capabilities at lower levels you need to be careful!  The Decision rapid is just that, if you have trouble here you'd better decide to abort the run!  A great play river for intermediate to advanced boaters, pool-drop with many memorable rapids and absolutely beautiful scenery.  You can take 10 hours to run it and still not have exhausted the play possibilities.  Water quality is good, clear except after heavy rain, but acidity from mine runoff means no fish.  The November 1985 flood estimated at over 200,000 cfs thru the canyon, changed a lot of rapids.  More recent floods changed Coliseum rapid some, but it is still spectacular and a favorite lunch stop.  The Recyclotron hole is incredibly playable at 2', but since the main drop at Coliseum is immediately below it's not for the faint of heart.  And I'm too chicken to play in it at any higher levels!
