One additional race may be of interest to Chicago fans - the Chicago Shoreline Marathon which will takes place on August 28th, 2010.

www.chicagoshorelinemarathin.com There are two options an 8 mile race and the full marathon, 25 miles on Lake Michigan. Being from Chicago I find the 8 mile tempting, but memories of heavy waves and cold water are still in my mind as well. Sure to be a challenge!
