Rob J and I are going to ride the loop Friday after work if the rain continues to hold off like it has.  We will be meeting behind the welcome center.  Join us if you like.

Good turnout for a Friday.. 6 of us rode.

Here is a link to the GPS tracking thingy I was playing with on my phone.  Pretty cool.

Not sure why it shows up in metric for everybody but me.

Need to use this to start mapping out rivers and shuttles.

It seems you have to install the gpsed application in order to change preferences, and the default for "guest mode" is metric.

I changed my preferences after I updated the coordinates.  I might walk around and test it now.

that would probably do it. I misunderstood the thread I read on it to mean you could install it on a lap/desktop and change the viewing preferences but DUH it's obviously a mobile app.

Changed my preferences on both my phone app and on my gpsed.com account to US.  Does not look like it does andy good.  Still shows up as km..
