Topic: Looking forward to meeting some fellow paddlers

I'm Andy, a UT senior and longtime Memphian who has come home for the long hot summer.  I've been kayaking a bit back in East Tennessee and would love to join in for some roll sessions and boatball (we call it kayak polo in the mountains).  Also up for some novice trips this summer when I can find some time.  

Looking forward to meeting you all in person, I'll be the one in the bright orange Necky Mission.

Just to clarify Boatball vs Kayak Polo...

To explain what boatball is, first understand what it's not. It's not kayak polo. Although that is what Memphis boaters called it when they started, it has evolved into a new and very different paddle sport. Boatball is to kayak polo, as American football is to soccer... similar, but different. Kayak polo and boatball both involve kayaks, teams and a ball, but that is the end of the similarity.
