It hasn't rained very much in Olive Branch, how much has it rained up that way? Does it look like the trails might be too wet?
Bayou Point in Arkabutla should drain well enough it should be fine if so.

looks like most of the rain has beeb in MS. we have been delievering cakes all over the place and the only place that was really wet ws OB. i am sitting in collierville now and there are some signs that it did rain.
we could just meet at TDW and if it is too muddy we could jump over to WRT.

Boy my typing from my phone was pretty bad.
How about 10am?
I have to go pick up a hot water heater in the afternoon and then do yard work and wait on the attic to cool so I can get the water heater up in the attic.

Was a fun ride. VERY hot. Sara came along and got hit by Justin. Both are sore and scrached up. Both also finished the trail. I say kudos to the 35 pound dog who got ran over by the 29er and continued to run and finish the last 4 miles in the heat. Kudos to Justin for sacrificing himself and jumping into the pool of boulders to try and inflict the least amount of damage. He was successful of course she walked away. Both are very very sore though. Like I said fun day!!!!

Sara got run over twice in the same incident. Justin decided to throw his bike just as he was crossing the ditch where the upper lake drains where the rip-rap is. His front wheel was on top of poor Sara at this point while he was at a full stop. There could not have been a worse place for him to have to bail from his bike. A little blood on both of them but they completed the trail.
It was HOT.. 88F in the shade and 104F in the sun. Makes me appreciate riding in the 20's in the winter.
Fun ride!
Michael
