Farewell...
« on: July 22, 2010, 01:15:25 PM »
All-

I'm moving out West to be in the heart of the Rockies, and will miss everyone here.  MW has really made my 3 1/2 year stay in Memphis great.  Without y'all I don't know if I could have ever felt at home!  You can bet I'll never forget to "KMFHD"...

My last day in Memphis is August 6th.  I hope I get to boat with y'all one last time...Rockport on Sunday was a blast, and maybe I will have one last horrah on the Ocoee this weekend.

If anyone feels like a trip to ski Utah powder, paddle Wyoming/Idaho/CO/Utah, or just get out of Memphis for awhile, look me up!  My door is always open to my whitewater friends.  Leave a message, though, because I'll probably be mountaineering, biking, or flying some of the most epic hang gliding sites in the country!

SYOTR,
Jeff

Hate to see ya leavin man, but atleast you're getting out of Memphis to a place where you can do the things you enjoy more!

Maybe you can still make it down for Creek Week or a few trips here and there. Hope to share an eddy again with ya soon..

Thanks, again, guys!  You will be missed.

I'll be fairly centrally-located in Salt Lake City, which is less than a 5 hour drive to ID, WY, MT, NV, CO, MT, and AZ...  I think I can be to Missoula, Montana and Denver, Colorado in less than 8 hours, and to Jackson Hole in about 4.5 hours.

It will certainly be a new playground to explore, but I will miss the Southeast!  Give me a shout if you are planning a ski trip!

Jeff,

I'm sure we can find some paddling and skiing that is halfway between Salt Lake and Billings.

And the more MW folk that move to this part of the country, the more fun it's going to be!

Jill, Ross-

I'm planning on heading up to Yellowstone/Teton area one weekend in September.  Let me know what your plans will be.  Would be nice to meet up!  :-D
