Factory Falls is the portage.

23 miles is the short run.  The long run is only a couple of miles of flatwater, but it seams like 23.
If you paddle like a girl then you must be pretty good!

Actually, if you don't have much time, or have an extra afternoon, the stretch below the bridge (143? - put-in at BCCR) is worth checking out once. No major rapids, but some fun little chutes about like Mill Creek to Lunch Stop. Just don't try bothering with the stretch from the Rock Quarry to the bridge. (Death Paddle multiplied). That being said, all newbies should definately see the entire upper stretch. Have fun!
