Rockport Release
« on: August 23, 2010, 07:57:04 PM »
Looks like the release schedule is slimming down.

Quote
Due to the low level of Lake Ouachita  flow releases have been reduced to the required minimum flow of just over 200 CFS from Remmel Dam only on weekdays. There may be a 4 hour release from Blakely and Carpenter dams every few days or so as needed to maintain the levels of lakes Hamilton and Catherine. On weekends and holidays flow releases of about 3600 CFS will occur from Noon to 3 PM to meet FERC requirements and to support Swiftwater rescue training downstream.

Three hours of fun can still be had on the weekends.

If you paddle like a girl then you must be pretty good!
